What's the Story?

A blind girl has fallen down a fire-escape and a drug addict has been beaten up. The team struggle through a heavy workload, but where is Charlie? Matters reach crisis point when a man is found sitting in a cubicle pointing a pistol at his own forehead. Charlie's arrives late and he is in a bad mood, even though it's his 40th birthday. Disgusted with the running of the NHS, he's come in to hand in his notice but he gets involved and has second thoughts.
