By accessing and using ParentGuidePlus ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

ParentGuidePlus provides media reviews, age-based content ratings, and family guidance for movies, TV shows, books, games, and apps. Our reviews are editorial in nature and represent the opinions of our team. They are intended as guidance for parents and should not be considered the sole factor in media decisions.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription Services

ParentGuidePlus offers an optional paid subscription that removes advertisements and lifts the free review view limit. Subscriptions are billed monthly through PayPal at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your profile or by contacting PayPal directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

5. User Content

Our Site allows you to submit content such as edit suggestions, reviews, and community contributions. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating the Site. You represent that any content you submit is your own or that you have the right to grant us this license.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Site to: (a) engage in unlawful activities; (b) post or transmit harmful, threatening, abusive, or objectionable content; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site; (e) use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Site; (f) interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality; or (g) circumvent any paywall or subscription restrictions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ParentGuidePlus or its content licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. Media posters, logos, and images from third-party sources (such as TMDB) are used under their respective licenses and terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site's accuracy, completeness, or availability. Our reviews and ratings are subjective opinions and should be used as one of many factors in making media decisions for your family.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParentGuidePlus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
