What's the Story?
Minecraft has no set story. Players are placed in a procedurally generated world made of blocks and must gather resources, craft tools, build shelters, and survive. In Survival mode, the goal is to defeat the Ender Dragon. In Creative mode, players have unlimited resources to build anything they can imagine. Multiplayer allows collaborative building and mini-games.

The Review
Written by Parent Guide Plus Editors
Minecraft is a sandbox game where players explore, build, and survive in a block-based world. In Survival mode, players face monsters like zombies, skeletons, and creepers, particularly at night. Combat involves hitting creatures with weapons, and while there's no blood or gore, the concept of fighting off monsters may concern some parents of younger children. Creative mode removes all threats. Online multiplayer servers can expose kids to unmoderated chat and inappropriate behavior from other players, so parental supervision is recommended for children under 10.
