The Review

Written by Parent Guide Plus Editors

When eight-year-old Kevin McCallister behaves poorly the night before a family trip, he is banished to the attic and wishes his family would disappear. Due to a power outage resetting the alarm clocks, his massive family accidentally rushes to the airport for their flight to Paris without him. While Kevin initially relishes his sudden freedom, he soon finds himself forced to single-handedly defend his suburban Chicago home against "The Wet Bandits"a bumbling duo of burglars named Harry and Marvusing a series of elaborate, painful booby traps.
